Hi there, welcome to my site! Townsville in North Queensland, Australia is where I call home. I was born in Victoria and grew up in Brisbane but have been a North Qld local for the past 30 years. My journey in art started in Brisbane where I was able to complete a course in Commercial Illustration at the College of Art. From there I was able to continue my love of art in Townsville.
I enjoy and appreciate Art in all its forms and as a local Artist, I find Townsville’s tropical environment exudes a beautiful ambience that is both inspirational and informative for my artwork.  I love to use a vivid color palette combined with an impressionistic abstract style especially in local iconic landscape scenes.  My mixed media works consist mainly of acrylic paint on canvas or watercolor paper. Gaining popularity within many local businesses, restaurants and homes, my art is attracting quite a following and also finding its way intrastate, interstate and abroad.
I create unique contemporary abstract art, offering either freelance pieces or commissioned works in a trademark style that is bold and striking. My colour palette is inspired by the North Queenslands’s natural environment that radiates beauty and freshness.
I use professional Artist’s quality paints and cover with a clear coating to further preserve the artwork.  There is nothing like the look and feel of an original artwork to express your own creativity through the pieces you select to hang because they are a real statement about yourself and your home’s style. Paintings are an investment, so my art will always look great on your wall for a very long time.
